missing posts while migrating to bluehost

    Hi, I have been trying to migrate my blog madonnadelpiatto.com to self hosted on Bluehost. I exported from wordpress.com a zip file which opens in 2 xml files, one is 1.3 Mb and the other is 7. 6 Mb.
    I then run the importer on the self hosted WP dashboard and uploaded both files. The memory limits on Bluehost are 256 Mb. No matter what I do however, all my 2019 posts have disappeared. Most of my drafts have disappeared too. I have repeated the process several times to no avail.

    By repeating the process I have been able to transfer a few more posts compared to the initial attempts which seems to indicate that the posts are not completely lost but after a few repeats I still have 13 posts and 43 drafts missing.

    I would be very grateful for any suggestions or alternative ways to do this, thanks!

    The exporter will allow you to specify a date range.

    If you’re only missing items from 2019, try only exporting that year and importing that.
