Missing Referrer
-
A referrer to my blog is missing from the list of referrers. The largest contributor to my list of referrers is a forum of which I have been a long time member. A few days ago, links from the forum http://www.psychcafe.ca went missing from my statistics on a desktop computer (they are still showing up in the WordPress app on my Iphone (Kudos, btw, love the app!). I’ve been poking around all my settings trying to figure out if I did something to turn off the references to the site, but no luck. Would really appreciate any ideas you might have on what happened. Thanks so much!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I’m currently seeing the referrer you mention in your stats for yesterday and today. Can you take a look and let me know if you’re seeing them on your side as well?

I am seeing them on the Stats page of my Iphone WordPress app, but they are not showing up on the Stats page on my desktop (http://wordpress.com/my-stats/) . Thanks for taking a look at this.

Hi there,
The stats referrer appears correctly in the browser version on my side. I’ve uploaded a screenshot to your Media Library showcasing the result:
Can you try potentially clearing your cache as explained here?
Additional browser instructions can be found here:
http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/
That shouldn’t have an effect though. Can you also try another browser and see if the referrer appears there?

I did clear my cache, I am using Mozilla Firefox 28.0 on Windows 7, btw and its still not showing up. I also opened the stats in Chrome and they’re still missing. Very weird considering you’re seeing it.
And the stats are showing a total of 39 referrals with and listing 31 from search engines, 1 from the WordPress reader and 1 from Psychology Today, so the 6 you are seeing from Psychcafe is in the total but not in the list.
I don’t want to spend too much time on this as its not really all that important in the scheme of things, especially since I can see the apps on my phone. I had just wondered if I had inadvertently blocked them from being listed.

This looks like a result of psychcafe.ca being inadvertently marked as spam from your browser. I’m in the process of marking it as “not spam” at that point, it should begin displaying both on your mobile device and in your browser. I’ll let you know as soon as this is finished!

Ah, it was my fault! So sorry and thanks so much for figuring that out. I’ll keep it in mind if this ever happens again, really appreciate your time.

Hi!
The referrer was marked as “not spam” so it should begin appearing on your browser stats page. Let me know if you need anything else!
