Missing refund for canceled domain service.

    Hi,

    I helped my friend to set up a site and since I had paypal we used my account to pay to connect her wordpress-account to her domain karinwiberg.info.

    However we never used that and when I noticed a year later that money had ben drawn from my paypal account once again I immediately canceled the service and got a message that within 7 days I will get 13$ refund. However, looking at my paypal activity history I still didn’t get any refund.

    How do I take this further? Seems impossible to get in contact with anyone at wordpress.com and this is hardly something to give details about in these public forums.

    So, whats the next step?

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     Hi Jesper,

    It looks like your account was immediately refunded in the form of WordPress.com credits when the auto-renewal was cancelled.

    I’ve removed the credits from your account and have requested a cash refund be sent to your account. I’ll let you know here once that is issued.

    A refund has been issued. It normally takes about a week for the refund to appear in your bank statement but you can find a refund receipt here:

    i have the same ploblem please help me wordpress charg me in 12 apr
    and i immediately canceled the upgrade after cancel nothing happen
    and no refund to me no email to me to tell me what to do and now 10 day ago please please help me

    You recently had an authorization charge from your Premium free trial:

    When you cancelled the product it voided our authorization charge and we never received funds, thus we cannot issue a refund.

    But that authorization charge can appear on your bank account for several days after the fact. Different banks handle these holds differently. I’d recommend contacting them to ask about any options to have the authorization charge removed quicker, but it usually takes several business days.
