Im trying to change settings in the customise menu such as disabling sticky menu/header for example but whenever I click appearance and go into customise I have limited settings. Such as header image but not the actual header settings. How do I access all the rest of the customisation settings. I have tried blank theme too to check if it was my theme and still nothing

Hi there,
You will need to upgrade to the WordPress.com Pro plan to access all the other customization settings.

Hi there,
The options you see in the Customizer depend on the theme you have selected. Some things have several features that can be adjusted in the Customizer, while others have only a few.
What exactly are you trying to adjust? Apart from upgrading to a plan, there might be other options, such as switching to a theme that supports the new Site Editor.

Well apart from wanting to play around with settings one thing annoying me is the sticky header that I want to disable but the settings for “Header” aren’t there which is the only place to disable it from looks of google.
And I’ve tried at least 20 different themes and I’m still getting the same like 5 or so basic settings in customiser. Swear you didn’t used to have to pay to edit header settings etc. I’m using Photos theme.

The “sticky header” is part of the design for the Photos theme, so it wouldn’t have a setting to disable it. It could be modified using CSS, but that would require you to upgrade to the Pro plan which would give you access to the Additional CSS section of the Customizer.
Let us know if you do decide to upgrade and we can help with the CSS code you would need to use in order to make that header “non-sticky” like you want.
Otherwise, we’d recommend finding a theme that doesn’t have a header with that behavior – you can click on the live demo for each theme to see how it behaves before you apply it to your site.
I hope that helps!
