Missing site visibility option from options-reading.php page
-
Rosymond asked on Mar 27, 2013 the question the answer for which I have been looking for a couple of hours now. No luck. The topic was close without showing an answer but with the statement that the case is resolved. Please let me also know the answer. I am just practising with WP on my own computer. So I cannot give the link to my “blog” yet.
Rosymond’s and my question is:
“My Site Visibility options ( “I would like my site to be visible only to …” options) are not present in the wp-admin/options-reading.php. After the “Search engine Visibility” choice, I get no other options!”So where they are or what makes them invisible in my case? My WP version is 3.9.2-fi with a couple of plug-ins installed but none of them in use just now.

I’m afraid you’re in the wrong forum. This support forum is for free WordPress.com blogs. You are talking about a self-hosted WordPress.ORG install. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Please visit the WordPress.org support forum for assistance as we won’t be able to help you here: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.
