Missing Social Media Stats

  Social media likes and shares were in the thousands but are now just a few hundred. How can I get my stats back?

  Which ones? Facebook? Twitter? Or _______?

  When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.   Hi there,

  There is a problem on Facebook’s end that they’re not returning share counts for any sharing buttons except the “official style” buttons. We have reported the problem to them and they’re working on their side to fix it.

  For now, if you switch to the official button style, you should see your correct sharing counts.

  Go to My Site ->Sharing ->Buttons. Select the Official Buttons under the Button Style heading.

  According to Facebook this should be fixed now, so if you switch back to your old sharing button style you should see the share count again. You might also need to clear your browser cache for it to update.

  If it’s still not showing the share count for you, please let me know.
