Missing ssl cert in my website after connecting to domain

  • Unknown's avatar

We have just connected to the domain bought from elsewhere. We followed the instruction to add the ns in the dns provider and verify the connection accordingly. After verification, we make the http://www.oshk.org.hk to primary domain, but when we go to the website, it said it is not secure. Any solution for this? Thanks

  • Hello!

The changes required for connecting a domain can take time to fully propagate across global servers – in some cases, this may take up to 72 hours. In order to set up SSL for your connected domain, we need to first detect that your domain is hosted here, which can be delayed as a result of that propagation time.

For reference, we have more information about SSL on WordPress.com here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/https-ssl/

I was just able to set up an SSL certificate for your oshk.org.hk domain name. If you still see any “not secure” warnings when viewing your site, you may need to clear your browser’s cache so it can recognize that change.
