Missing text Widgets

  Hi! There are supposed to be three text widgets on the Home page of the template I am using. None of them are appearing. Only the main sidebar widget and the footer widgets. How do I get them back?

  Hi,

  See the Sela theme guide. Those only display on a page which as been assigned the Front Page Template. On the Sela theme, a page with that template assigned has three “front-page” widget areas, regardless of whether the page is set as the front page or not. While the Sela demo has one widget in each of the three areas, each of them can potentially contain a virtually unlimited column of widgets. The use of text widgets linking to examples of three different page templates in the three front page widgets of the Sela demo is an arbitrary choice.

  To reiterate what musicdoc1 said, you’ll need to choose the Front Page template for your homepage, instead of the Contact template. I’d also suggest you remove “Contact” as the parent page, since the front page should not have a parent.
