Missing the 3rd option – the no-cellphone one

  Hi There, you happiness person of the engineering persuasion!

  How are you?

  You are offering the 2-step authentication method via a cellphone.

  Since I do not own, use, or intend to own a cellphone, are you considering any alternative method for a 2-step authentication for people in my situation?

  Hi Ina,

  Right now, it’s only possible to use two-step if you have a mobile phone. If you don’t, I’d just recommend using a strong, unique password for your WordPress.com account. You can read more tips here:
