missing the plugin tab

  Hello,
  I am new to WordPress.

  My dashboard is missing the plugin tab on the left menu. Therefore, I’m unable to use any cool plugin features. Please help!

  It’s not missing: WordPress.COM blogs don’t have plugins. See this link for details:

  If that is the blog you are asking about, then you should read the support document about plugins:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
  (we can’t use plugins on wp.com)

  And you may not be aware but there are 2 very different kinds of WordPress:
  wp.COM free-hosted
  wp.ORG pay for hosting and install wp software
