Missing the sidebar option

  Hi,
  I’m new to WP..com and am trying to add a sidebar widget but I only seem to have header or footer options for my widgets. I’m using Shorditch theme.
  I think I may ahve deleted something!
  Please help. Many thanks,

  I think your theme does not support Sidebar. Change Your theme another one which support sidebar.
