Missing Themes
-
Hello, so I just created a second WordPress.com site. I notice that when I go to my older first site I have over 500 themes to choose from. when I go over to my newer 2nd site i just created i only have 300 or so themes to choose from. So for example, with my first site I could find the “Motif” theme and switch over to that. But if I go to my newer second site I don’t see the “Motif” theme available anywhere. What gives? Thanks

Hey there!
Thanks for reaching out. This may be because you have paid for an upgrade on your first site. On your second site, if it’s free — then you won’t get as much themes, or you’ll have to pay for separate themes rather than upgrading.
Learn more about themes here, and learn more about Premium themes here.
If those didn’t help, or you did upgrade on your second site, try to also make sure you are using a great browser — and do some troubleshooting if those above I provided didn’t work.
Thanks!

Hi fringeparanormal,
As discussed on one of the threads previously, the number of available themes for a WordPress.com site depend on when the site was created.
I hope this helps clarify things. Feel free to get back if you have questions.
