Missing themes from local pages

Love the new local pages. Unfortunately the page is missing some themes which aren’t “Active” although some of them already contain translations. To most of them haven’t been added any strings for translation though. Here’s a list of the missing themes:

Hi Martin,
Thanks for pointing that out. I’m checking with the team to find out why those aren’t marked as “Active” and don’t have any strings in GlotPress.
You may see some of the strings translated for themes even if they don’t have theme-specific strings in GlotPress, though. That’s because if a theme uses a string in the WordPress.com project, we’ll use that translation.

Hi Martin!
Thanks a bunch for tipping us off to this. It should be fixed for all the themes you mentioned and it should be fixed for all new themes going forward too.
Cheers.

I’m not sure but it looks like the issue might be back. The Cols Theme hasn’t been marked as “Active” and therefore doesn’t show up on the local page.

Hey Martin! Thanks for the updated. I’ve pinged the devs about it again. They are digging into why this keeps happening, so definitely keep updating us if you see more of these!

Hey musicdoc1 – Martin is referring to the theme’s translation projects. We’re having an issue with our glotpress script that is setting new themes to inactive instead of active. When a theme is inactive it doesn’t appear on local translation pages like this one:

Whoops, forgot to add – Martin, Yoav has fixed the Plane theme and he’s chatting with the theme developer about the activation process. Hopefully they’ll be able to figure out what happened. :)
