Missing trackback URI
-
Hi,
I see this question has been asked a few times by wordpress.org users, so it has not been answered as far as I could find. Basically, my blog http://sourcecodeadventures.wordpress.com/ shows permalink and comment URIs at the bottom of the post, but the trackback URI that other people should use is nowhere to be found.
I have only done two posts so far and could swear that it was there before I did the new post. Regardless, for both posts I double-checked that trackbacks are enabled (in the Discussions box at the bottom of the Edit Post page).
Is there another setting that I should be aware of, or is this depend on the theme, widgets or some other non-obvious setting?
Regards,
Cobus Kruger

The title of the blog post is the same as the permalink. If I recall the trackback URI is something like permalink/trackback/. Not so?

OK, I think I’ve got it figured out. The trackback URI only appears once a comment has been posted.
This one has the URI listed beneath the comments:
http://sourcecodeadventures.wordpress.com/2009/06/24/12-delphi-code-templates-to-save-keystrokes/but this one doesn’t:
http://sourcecodeadventures.wordpress.com/2009/06/22/whats-wrong-with-floating-point/This is with the Spring theme. I still don’t know if this will change if I use another theme.
