missing visual editor when multiple people logged in using same login details
-
Visual editor is missing – the visual editor seems to disappear when there are several people logged in and editing the site with same login details, is it because of several people being logged in (do we need to set up separate authors? or is it because of caching problems?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
If you’re only having the trouble when multiple people are logged in, I’d like to investigate that first.
As a best practice, each login should be unique to an individual. Unlimited number of folks can be authors, contributors, editors, etc on your site and having separate accounts helps ensure you know who did what and protects yourself if ever any of the individual contributors leave.
More about the different user roles and add to set them can be found at: User Roles
If there are still issues after folks are logging in via their own login, let me know and we can debug that quite a bit easier. If you have any other questions, please let me know!

We have now given different authors different login details as advised but it still seems to be happening, I have tried it and it happens to me when looking at site in Chrome but it seems to work fine when in Firefox, have you heard of this before? We have tried refreshing etc.

A few options to try:
- Clear your browser’s cache (Instructions
- Enable HTTPS mode
One of those two correct the vast majority of these issues, especially since it is isolated to one browser.
Thanks for your patience as we get the ship turned right for you. Cheers!
