Missing website?
-
Hello I recently changed my PC hardware and when I logged into my wordpress account, I couldn’t find my site anymore. Well I can view it under the old address ggsteam.wordpress.com but I am not able to edit it anymore like I used to.
I’m wondering what happened, isn’t this account here the one linked to that website? I would like to be able to access my website again, could you please name me the e-mail address linked to that account if it isn’t (email visible only to moderators and staff)

The admin log in link https://spliffiblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with the actual blog’s name in that URL.
After the blog’s owner logs in clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username account, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If the blog’s owner does not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then they need to follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility
If the log-in information is lost they need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
WordPress.COM Account recovery
If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

could you please name me the e-mail address linked to that account if it isn’t [email redacted]
There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time. A confirmation email will be sent to that address.

Heyho, thanks for detailed answer but unfortunately none of the named steps helped me so far. Not even the account recovery, because the kind of information you are forced to provide to do an account recovery is a unavailable to me – how am I supposed to find that weird data again, if I have a free account and no 2-step-security activated. But my IP is the only one that had ever access to that account, shouldn’t that be enough?
I think my problem is of much simpler nature, namely that I have made two accounts and logged into the wrong one accidentally, which isn’t linked to my website I am trying to edit again. So I wanted to find out, what’s the name of the (other account of mine) account linked to the blog I posted:
Thanks for your help anyway, maybe a staff member can help me out here.
