Missing Website
-
Good morning,
Our website http://www.easdownsfinancialservices.com.au has disappeared from the web.
I believe this may have something to do with not renewing a subscription. I have no login details for our company account so I can’t log in to make any payments. I think the account name may have been easdowns-admin. I would like to get the site back up ASAP. Thank youWP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
It looks like the domain
easdownsfinancialservices.com.auis hosted with GoDaddy. In order to gain access to the site, you’ll need to contact their support team and see what they can do.https://www.godaddy.com/en-ca/contact-us
Cheers,

Thank you for the reply Eric.
The website was originally built and hosted on word press: financialservices.easdowns.com.au
GoDaddy was just used to purchase the domain name: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
GoDaddy was never used to make any edits to the site.
Historically I accessed the WordPress account to make any edits to the site via: http://www.easdownsfinancialservices.com.au/manage
This link no longer works.
I also have historical emails from WordPress with the hyperlink below which also no longer works: http://financialservices.easdowns.com.au/manage?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Ffinancialservices.easdowns.com.au%2Fwp-admin%2Fadmin.php%3Fpage%3Ditsec
Thank you.

All of the links you’ve added still point at GoDaddy being the host.
With the way they have things set up, there is an admin panel for the GoDaddy component and a separate admin panel for the WordPress component.
The
/managelink tells me somebody likely installed a plugin to hide the default/wp-adminlink that you would use to access the WordPress admin panel component. So, if I’m correct, you will still need to contact GoDaddy to reactivate the site or fix whatever issue is on their end. Then once that’s been complete, you should once again be able to edit the site through the
/managelink you’re used to.Cheers,

GoDaddy have confirmed that we only purchased a domain name, not a host subscription.
GoDaddy have investigated and can’t find any issues with our account that would be affecting the website.
Our site user manual directs us to go to: http://financialservices.easdowns.com.au/wp-admin/
I believe the WP refers to WordPress. I just want to be able to access my WP account as all the user names and p/ws I have tried don’t work. :(

The
wp-admindoes mean it’s WordPress, but it’s the open-source WordPress.org platform and not WordPress.com. They’re two different platforms. So the staff and volunteers here have zero access to any account information relating to your site.https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
Does the
http://financialservices.easdowns.com.au/wp-admin/link load for you? When I try to open it, it just loads forever. The issue appears to be with your hosting.
Doing a lookup of the IP address used for your site
59.100.125.74points me to an Australian company that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with web hosting.https://www.tpgtelecom.com.au/
At this point, I don’t think I can offer any more assistance. You need to find who hosts the website and get in touch with them. They’ll be able to see if the servers are all running and access the database to reset passwords etc.
Sorry I couldn’t offer more help.
Cheers,
Eric
