missing wp-config.php error

  • Unknown's avatar

I keep getting this error “There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started. Need more help? We got it. You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.”

Even though i have the file in there with the correct name, all the mysql detais seem
to be hooked up correctly ad everything.

Even when i try do it from the web interface and i have the “wp-config-sample” file in there i get this error “Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample.php file to work from. Please re-upload this file from your WordPress installation.”

    what can i try?
