misspelled domain name for .com purchase – refund or transfer?

  I just purchased a .com domain a few minutes ago, and realized too late that the name contained a typo (masterpieceStreats.com, rather than masterpiecetreats.com). The latter is still available. Is there a way to register the new name and delete the previous domain without incurring another $20+ expense?

  You have two days to completely cancel a domain name order, as noted in the following documentation:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/

  I would recommend purchasing the correct domain as quickly as possible, then follow the instructions to request a refund for the misspelled domain.
