mistake in my domain name

  I just realized that my domain name is spelled wrong. I know there is a 48 hours refund policy, I am beyond that point, but I can’t use the website while the name is spelled wrong. Can you change it for me some how? Or give me instructions on how to change it? It should read persuasivecopywriting.com NOT http://pursuasivecopywriting.com. I know this is a stupid mistake, but if there is anyway I can get this attended to as fast as possible that would be awesome. By business basically won’t be active until I get this fixed.

  Okay, I didn’t get response. But persuasivecopywriting.com is already taken. I need to cancel persuasivecopywriting.com and I would like to change it to persuasioncopywriting.com. Is this possible? I’m really desperate for an answer and to have this resolved.

  Hey Elizabeth! Domain names aren’t editable once they’re registered. They are set in stone until they expire or are canceled by their owners.

  The best solution is for you to register a new domain through your site’s Dashboard.

  I can cancel pursuasivecopywriting.com for you. I’m happy to give you a refund as well, as you did contact us before that 48-hour window.

  Just so you are aware, canceling a domain is irreversible. If we cancel your newly-registered domain, it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled. I assume you don’t mind this, as there is a misspelling, but I do need your confirmation before I take action.

  If you don’t want this domain at all, let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you!

  Hi EJ, Are you asking if you cancel pursuasivecopywriting.com, will you be able to re-register it at a later date? If so, there’s no guarantee that if you cancel a custom domain that it will be available again.

  However, if you’re asking about being able to register a new custom domain to upgrade your site, persuasioncopywriting.wordpress.com/, then yes. You can register as many custom domain names that you’d like.

  Also, how much of it will be refunded? Just the $18 for the domain? The additional upgrades that I purchase, will they be affected? I’m using it the customization options and such on the new persuasioncopywriting. So I just want to make sure that won’t be affected. I just purchased the new domain.
