Misty Lake – Caption Customization

  I can’t figure out how to customize the caption on my photos. I would like my caption text to be a little closer to my photo. It’s too far below right now. I would also like to change the text color. When I do :

  .wp-caption-text {
  color: #666666;
  text-align: left;
  margin-top: 0;
  }

  it doesn’t change the color of the text! Please help, thanks!

  Looks like your rule is not specific enough to override other colors in the theme. Try making your selector just a bit more specific by changing “.wp-caption-text” to “.wp-caption .wp-caption-text”.
