Misty Lake request: underlined (or bolded) hyperlinks

This isn’t really a problem — it’s an observation about why I won’t use Misty Lake. It is a beautiful theme, and it would be perfect for our church website. Yet hyperlinked text is almost undetectable. If only the theme included underlined or bolded hyperlinks, I would use it. (I know I could do it by hand, but I’m not going to to back through six years of archives.) Yes, I could pay for the upgrade, but it doesn’t seem right to have to pay extra for basic functionality. Any chance that this might change?

Hi Dan! My suggestion is to add your thought to: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas

The designers of Misty Lake chose their font weights to suit their artistic vision, but if enough users have issue with it, they will take that into consideration.

And you’re right — you can make this change with the Custom Upgrade. Whenever adjustments to the designer’s work are made, the upgrade must be attained. Especially in a case like this where it’s the “look” that’s being impacted, more than the function of the actual site. If you choose to upgrade, just let us know and we’re happy to assist with the code changes.

If you’d like help finding another theme that suits the look and feel you’re hoping to attain, please let me know! Thanks so much for your thoughtful input. Best to you.
