Misty Look theme – more tag does not work
-
I have tried using
(1) the visual rich text editor (icon #13)
(2) the standard editor [more] button
(3) and manually I have typed <!–more–>
into a post in the Misty Look theme and none of them worked. -
You’ll have to say more (no pun intended!). How do you know it doesn’t work? I ask because the preview you get on the “Write” page at the bottom does not show the result. You should, however, see it (where “it” is the horizontal line with the little “more” tab on it) in the Visual editor’s edit pane. I use the Misty Look theme and it has been working fine; a quick test just now shows it still works. When it does work, after you publish you will see “Continue Reading »” at the bottom of your post, but only on the main page of your blog.

I know that you know that I know how to do this. The post involved a quizz. The answer to the questions was an image. I did not want them to appear on the same page. FWIW looking back I can see that this might have been just before the timeframe they were working on the image uploader. Check out the first post here and see if you can guess the answer ;) http://timethief.wordpress.com/
