Mistylook category/archive navigation
-
Hi,
Before I make this a support ticket, I’m wondering if anyone else using the Mistylook theme (or perhaps some other theme) is have the following problem.
On my blog http://trinifar.wordpress.com/ if you use the right sidebar widgets to look at a category or archive that has enough entries to produce multiple pages of output, at the bottom of the first page (which correctly starts with the newest posts) you see a link labeled “Newer Posts” (instead of “Older Posts”). When you click it, it does was it is supposed to do (go to the next page of older posts).
I suspect this is a problem with the template which I’ve never noticed before. It’s just that the text on the “Newer/Older Posts” links are backwards when viewing a category or archive — however they are correct when viewing the blog normally, i.e. not a category or archive but the whole blog.

That’s interesting. I use (CSS hacked) MistyLook and just clicked on my largest category in the category cloud. The most recent entry was on top, but at the bottom of the page it did say “Newer posts.”

There’s was a long standing problem with these links but I thought that it was resolved.

oh,… and I’ll send it to the support people tomorrow morning when they are open for business. A little odd, I think, that the webform for support closes down when the staff isn’t on duty.

What’s even weirder is that Mark is in the UK, so he IS around, even when the Support button isn’t working.
