Mitigating Followers
-
Hi,
I transferred my followers to my wordpress.org self hosted site, I’d actually like to export them back to my wordpress.com site. Is that possible?
Thanks

Hi there,
To move the followers, please ensure you have a Jetpack connection between the two sites by installing the Jetpack plugin on your self-hosted website.
I’ve tagged staff to assist you, you will receive a response from them likely within a few hours.
Please share the URL of both the sites.
Best,

@mentalhealthwarriorsorg, we would need to know both URLs to be able to assist you but you can also migrate the followers yourself as explained here:

Hi, Thank you for getting back to me
It’s probably an unusual request because that link doesn’t have the option… but I’m wanting to move the subscribers from the self-hosted .org site, to the wordpress.com site.
Here are the two URLs
thementalhealthwarriors.com

I’ve migrated the followers from thementalhealthwarriors.com to mentalhealthwarriorsfoundation.wordpress.com.
Please note that it can take several hours for the subscriber list and totals for your site to be updated, especially if you have many subscribers.

Looks like staff-mckluskey was able to migrate your followers. Please let us know if you have any issues seeing them.
Thanks,

Hi,
I realized I made a mistake (didn’t realize we couldn’t use good ads on wordpress.com).
Could you kindly transfer all of my followers back to the self-hosted site? Sorry for any inconvenience.
