mixcloud embeds

Until recently I had no problem installing my mixcloud link in my blog. Then I became aware that I could only use the mixcloud link in Classic WordPress mode. I still cannot use Block editor although I had been using it since I set up the blog. The problem is also that the mixcloud embed which I click and copy is not stable on wordpress.com It flashes instead of remaining still. My last two posts had this problem, eventually it seemed to resolve itself. I am having the same problem yet again. It is very frustrating. I think the problem began when I used your mixcloud embed symbol from WordPress. I also accidentally enabled API I think this when all my current problems began.

I am using Safari version 13. I think that is what you need. I did not realise that browsers had version numbers.!

I have used google – I did a test blog with link direct from mixcloud.com – it worked fine. I think the problem might be with Safari.

We’ve found that the autoplay feature for Mixcloud is not working. WordPress say this is an issue with Mixcloud – but I’ve tried exactly the same code on Squarespace and it works perfectly.
Can anyone help please?

I can’t help but I will contact Mixcloud. However I do think WordPress need to work on this problem.

Could you point me to the post/page where you’ve been trying to add the Mixcloud embed? Also, what’s the link to that Mixcloud track?

The link flashes when I try to use Blocks
I have had problems with the featured image intermittently.
I have most problems when using Safari.
When I use Google I do not have problems with featured image.

We had to move our site back to squarespace as the autoplay DOES work there.
Any update on if autoplay is working on wordpress.com yet?

Ah, I just checked in chrome and the embeds are appearing – Its not appearing in safari version 13.1.1 though
