I”m really not savvy with any type of code so I’m struggling with all the advice I’m getting about putting a Mixcloud player on my wordpress.com blog. Ifanyone can help, here’s the embed code I’ve been given by Mixcloud. What I do with it is a mystery to me…

You need to turn the above into this:

How did you do that? Or better: How can i do that with other Mixcloud Codes?

You could find out by carefully comparing the code the OP pasted with the shortcode I gave. You take this part of the code only:
<embed src="//www.mixcloud.com/media/swf/player/mixcloudLoader.swf?VARIABLES HERE" ETC ETC width="480" height="480"></embed>
and turn it to this:
gigya src="http://www.mixcloud.com/media/swf/player/mixcloudLoader.swf" flashvars="VARIABLES HERE" ETC ETC width="480" height="480" ]
