mixed up

    Hi everyone,

sounds a littlebit clumsy but I got my self-hosted WordPress site mixed up with the WordPress-hosted sites I have. I didn’t know quite the difference. So I’ve got an account at WordPress and have three WordPress hosted sites and I’ve got a website (with my own log-in codes, which I forgot) at a hosting firm in Holland. Somehow I (mis)managed to get all four of them under my account at WordPress under one inlog code which I also forgot. It’s a mess.
Mostly I write down my log-in codes but I changed my passwords so often that I lost track. Now I need to restore hose log-in codes. Where can I do this?

if you understand what I’ve just written then aybe yu can enlighten me a little-bit, thank you,

    cheers, Andrew.

  • Hi @marandrew, no worries.

If it helps, WordPress.com is a service. WordPress.org is free software you can install at another host. It’s a bit like the difference between a restaurant and a recipe.

I can see you’re logged in here, so I’m not too worried about your account here with us unless you have more than one and need help with that.

As for the others: we don’t have the credentials for your own installations, but this may help:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password

There are several options listed there — just choose the one that seems to fit you best. If you need more help, again, your host might be able to help you, or you can ask the community at https://wordpress.org/support .

    Cheers!
