mixed up website
-
I have a domain called eltyboxes.com that we set a site up a theme on, then I decided to change the theme but it looks like I’ve done it on eltyboxes.wordpress.com instead (I did think I was changing it rather than making a new one though) so I have been working on the wrong wordpress site and now have no clue how to make it right! Could someone please help a novice that’s got a headache trying to fix this problem? The ideal solution would be for the site http://www.eltyboxes.com to have the content of http://www.eltyboxes.wordpress.com Please help!
Thank you

Hi there:
It does look like you’re working with two sites here:
1. Your
eltyboxes.wordpress.comsite, which is hosted here.2. Your site
eltyboxes.comwhich is using the WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and hosted elsewhere.Since it sounds like you want to use your domain with the site you built here at WordPress.com, you would either need to connect or transfer your domain here.
Connecting a domain (also referred to as domain mapping) means that you connect your domain with your WordPress.com site, but you renew the domain at your registrar (where you bought the domain), and renew your site plan here at WordPress.com.
Domain Transfer means that your domain’s registration is moved over to WordPress.com and we then become your registrar, so all future renewals of your domain and plan for your WordPress.com site are managed and paid on your WordPress.com account.
Additionally, to use that domain as your primary domain here at WordPress.com, you’ll need one of our paid plans to do that. Domain connections are included in the plan pricing and if you decide to transfer your domain here, the first year of registration is included if you purchase a yearly plan.
I know that was a lot of information, but we’re happy to answer any other questions you might have. :)
