Mixfolio, Change "Recent Work" Label
-
I want to use Mixfolio’s secondary menu, but not to display recent work. Is there a way to change the menu label to something else?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“Recent Work” is built into the theme itself, but you could override it with your own text with custom CSS:
#filter .title { visibility: hidden; } #filter .title:before { content: "My New Text:"; visibility: visible; }Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans.

Thanks, but I don’t have a premium or business plan.
I’m surprised there’s no option on the theme to change this “recent work” wording.

Mixfolio was designed for visual artists, which is why that label is there – but yes, in a more recent theme built today, that text probably wouldn’t be hard-coded into the theme, as it does lock the theme into a very narrow type of site. :)
If you’re looking for a more flexible theme that has a primary and footer menu like Mixfolio, perhaps you’d like to check out Able:
https://abledemo.wordpress.com/
It has a footer menu which isn’t shown in the demo.
