mobile app appearance

Hi, there. Help with mobile app appearance please! I’m trying to edit the appearance of my site on the mobile app. (I’d like to simplify how visitors see my site on their mobile. The only options I see are under ‘appearance’ and then ‘mobile’ and also AMP. Any changes however seem to have no effect. Example: if I want only a single post to appear on the mobile app, I select ‘1’ but it doesn’t take effect.

Hello there,
When I visit the site https://dougcronk.wordpress.com I’m seeing just one post.
Can you tell me if you’ve tried clearing the browser cache on the devices where you’re seeing multiple posts?
Many thanks.

Hmmm. Thanks. I did clear my browser cache etc … and still see multi posts … until I scroll to the very bottom and select ‘full site’ link. Now I see a single post … just like the desktop site. Which is what I was aiming to do.
So if you tested and see a more simple landing page, that’s what I was hoping to do. I’m hoping other mobile viewers land on the same simple post page.
If there are other tools to simplify the mobile viewers experience, I’d be happy to hear about them.
Again, Thanks. -
Hello there,
Hmm, it sounds like you may seeing the AMP version… Are you looking to see the Full site version that you mentioned?
If yes, please go to Settings > Performance > deactivate “Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)”
I hope this helps.

Thanks. Anything I can do to enhance (and simplify) the mobile users experience is what I am looking for .. so I’ll leave AMP activated.
