Mobile menu collapses right away

When trying to view the menu on our website on an Android mobile device the menu opens but closes right away.
Its a hamburger style mobile menu.
Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it? We have a Child theme of the Creative theme.Is this a known issue? We googled the issue but all answers seemed to be specific to other themes.

What is the address of your site? Your mention of a child theme has me wondering if you might not be running a self hosted wordpress site, which is a bit different than a WordPress.com site.

We are hosted on godaddy.
This is a recent issue that wasn’t occurring before. Thanks for any help!

A site hosted somewhere else (not here on WordPress.com) is called a self hosted site, which is a little different than what this forum is geared towards. You’ll get advice on self hosted sites on these forums instead: http://WordPress.org/support
