    Hi there!

What mobile browser are you using to view your site? I visited your site on my iPhone 5 using Chrome and Safari. The Menu button works fine on Safari when tapped. It shows a drop-down menu: Home, Blog, Pricelist, Contact and Special FX Department. However, it doesn’t work on Chrome. Nothing happens when the Menu button is tapped.

Let’s see if Staff can look into it. I have tagged this thread for their attention. Please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. To subscribe, look in the sidebar of this thread, find the Subscribe to Topics link and click it.

    Thanks Elzrjose
I am using iPhone 5 and usually use Chrome as my main browser. I just checked on my Safari and the menu works there and I can navigate the website. I guess the problem is just Chrome…

    Hi there!

I see you chatted with Susan about this issue, and she reported it to the Hyalite theme’s author. We’ll let you know as soon as we have an update about it — please let me know if I can do anything more to help in the meantime!

I’m having the same issue. The menu button isn’t working on my iPhone Safari browser.

@flamingwhopper — The menu button works for me in Safari. Can you let me know what version of the iPhone you have (e.g. iPhone 4s, 5, 6) and which iOS version you have installed? You can check the iOS version in Settings > General > About, next to “Version” there. Thanks!

    Hi

    I’m using an iPhone4. iOS 7.1.2.

I really need to get an upgrade at some point :D

  • Unknown's avatar

Thanks for letting me know — the issue sounds like it’s related to using that older version of iOS. In the more recent versions of iOS 8 it’s working as expected, so I’d recommend updating to make sure it works for you. :)

  • Unknown's avatar

Thanks. Unfortunately that would also mean updating my phone. iOS doesn’t upgrade beyond iOS 7.1.2 for iPhone 4.

  • Unknown's avatar

Ah, I see. In that case, you may want to enable the Mobile Theme on your site. Newer themes may have features that won’t work on older devices, but our mobile theme should work as expected your iPhone 4/iOS 7.1.2. If you run into any trouble with that or have other questions, please feel free to start a new forum thread about that. :)

Thanks. I tried it. Funnily enough the demo site (http://demo.cedaro.com/hyalite/) works on my mobile. I will get some help from Cedaro :)

  • Unknown's avatar

There has been an update from Cedaro. They’ve released 1.5 which fixed my nav issue on iPhone 4 / iOS 7.1.2. It should also fix the mobile menu on Chrome on an iOS device.

I noticed this issue was fixed in Hyalite by the theme authors, as flamingwhopper mentioned, and was updated here at WordPress.com about 5 days ago.

heatherniimd, please let us know if you’re still having any trouble next time you have a chance to take a look.
