Mobile Optimisation of a free site

  Is there a way can optimise my website for Mobile use. I have a free plan as i have just started my business. I would like to make sure two elements are optimised the rest looks fine.

  All themes in the WordPress.com theme repository adapt to devices of different sizes by default. If you’re using a retired or older theme that doesn’t adapt to different devices, such as smartphones, then you can enable the WordPress.com mobile theme.
