Mobile responsive header
-
I have Themovation’s Bellevue theme on my site. It has always looked great on my laptop, but at some point, the header got messed up in mobile. Instead of transparent, it’s white. And it has a non-functioning hamburger menu (which I pathetically tried to hide with a Buttonizer button) that should be deleted. (Navigation is in the footer.) Last I heard from theme support (they have been MIA for months), these changes are possible using Global Page Templates, Elementor’s responsive settings. But I don’t have any idea what to do. I am not very technologically savvy and do not do CSS. I’d very much appreciate any input! TIA!

We can’t help with third party plugins. You must contact support of that theme. You paid for the tehem bu that should also include support!

Bummer. I submitted the ticket to the theme help desk February 15, and I kept hounding them, and Envato Market, who sells the theme and support. I finally gave up yesterday, 5 months later, and requested a refund. And I won’t renew support, what’s the point? Just trying to trouble shoot on my own. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Hi @clkopen,
In addition to what @staartmees suggested, your site lakeodessabeachcottage.com is a self-hosted site using the open-source WordPress software. We wouldn’t have access to it here at WordPress.com, as we are a managed hosting service, not linked with your hosting provider, Host Monster. We explain the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org in the link below.

I recommend reaching out to Host Monster for tailored assistance. You can refer to this link for information on where your website is hosted.

Additionally, if you’re looking for a hosting service that includes robust support, consider our offerings at WordPress.com. We provide a seamless migration process at no additional cost, which could help simplify your setup and ongoing management.
Here is a support document that explains how you can migrate your site to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/
