Mobile site appearance

Two things:
The icon for the drop down menu looks like the icon for Settings on a Mac. Is this adjustable?
Also, I wish I could include a screenshot, but there is a block of color in between pages that has nothing to do with my palette and nothing I do seems to change it.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Hey Stacy!
Regarding your icon, I’ve dropped a note to the theme’s developers to take a look at your menu in tablet/mobile view. I do see the issue — and it appears as if that isn’t the intuitive icon for a mobile menu!
I’ll let you know what they say.
Also, I wish I could include a screenshot, but there is a block of color in between pages that has nothing to do with my palette and nothing I do seems to change it.
Could you please upload the image to your Media Library? I can take a look at it from there. Just drop me a line when there’s something you want me to see.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Hi thatrobyn,
Thanks so much for responding!
I have uploaded the screenshot to the media library. That tealy-blue-green stripe is working my nerves. I feel like I’ve tried everything to adjust it (would love the moonbeam color inside the ball) to no avail.
Thanks again!

Heya Stacy!
I have a CSS solution you might like. Since you have the Premium upgrade, you are able to change your theme’s code.
If you’d like to give this a try, click Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:
.menu-toggle {
background-color: #005ea7;
}Then Save your changes.
I chose a blue color, so you’d be able to see an obvious change. However, you can choose your own hex color. A site like this will help you find a code for a color you like:
(#005ea7 indicates the blue color. You would replace that with your own choice.)
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Howdy Stacy!
Just a note to say this is the intended behavior. It looks like you’re using a Custom Menu Widget (found under Customize -> Widgets) to display your navigation.
If you assign your menu to the Primary Menu location under Customize -> Menus, you’ll see it appear under the hamburger icon rather than the cog icon when viewing on a mobile device.
I hope this clarifies!
Cheers,
Caroline
