Mobile site not working when I changed the theme.

    I updated the theme of my site for EssFleetService.com but when I open on my mobile phone it displays an old site. Is there something I need to activate or change? It is a free theme recommend by WordPress. I did not thing anything extra needed to be purchased. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks, Amanda

    Hi,

    It’s possible the the new theme may not be officially mobile-compatible. However, modern mobile devices are generally pretty robust, and at the bottom of the page on the mobile version, you’ll see an option “Enable Full Site,” and once you click that, you’ll see the new and improved version you’ve worked so hard on.

    However, you’d probably like everyone else to see that too. If you go into your wp-admin page under Appearance->Mobile you can disable the mobile theme that’s replacing the new one, and while some users with older devices may have problems, most users should be okay.

    @essfleetservice If your site is hosted by 1 & 1 then it will be using the WordPress.org software. Didn’t you see the reply when you asked this same question a month ago? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/mobile-18/
    There may well be a forum specific to your theme at WordPress.org support.
