Mobile sub menus won't collapse under parent menu
-
On mobile, opening the menu will open the entire menu, parents, sub menu posts, everything. I just want the initial menu drop down to include only the main sections, “Home”, “Phoenix Theory”, “Nutrition”, “Training”, “Depression”, “Inspiration” and “Contact”. Then if the user clicks on “Nutrition”, I want that sub menu of posts to expand. Then if they click “Training”, the “Nutrition” sub menu collapses and the “Training” sub menu expands. Just like how it works on the computer screen version.
Thank you.

Hey there,
Based on the demo site for the Hemingway Rewritten theme here: https://hemingwayrewrittendemo.wordpress.com/ and theme documentation here: https://wordpress.com/theme/hemingway-rewritten it looks as though this is the default set up for the theme and there are no options/settings to enable drop down sub menu items.
Hope this helps,
Cheers

Hi there,
I can confirm this is by design – the mobile version of your theme automatically expands all submenus if you open the menu. This is standard practice for menus on mobile websites, and in my experience most of our themes handle it in this way.
It’s not possible to have it behave in the way you want it to, as this type of change cannot be achieved via CSS code alone.
