Mobile Theme – Header Image

    Under “Mobile” I’ve selected the option to display custom header images, but nothing is showing up. I have the custom design updgrade. Can you help?

  • Hi there – I played around with this, and it looks like the mobile theme doesn’t display a header image if you have “Random” selected in Appearance->Header, only if you have one image selected.

    However, your theme, Twenty Eleven, is responsive, which means you don’t really need to use the mobile theme, as your theme will adjust to display well on any screen size. Try choosing “no” for “enable mobile theme” here, and see if you prefer the display:

    It will show a version of your theme that’s optimized for displaying well on smaller screens.

    Thank you very much for the input. The issue with the non-mobile option is the menu. The format is awkward and you can’t really tell what to click on due to the sub nav. I’ll keep playing around with it.

  • Hi there – Gotcha. The theme developers are aware of this issue with the mobile theme and random headers and are working on it, and I’ll update you when there are any changes. :)
