mobile version
-
hello,
When I access my site on iphone, menu items along with images and hyperlinks disappear as I navigate around. I do not have the mobile theme enabled for the simple reason that I wish to keep the menu items displayed at the top.
Can this glitch get rectified? Thanks!

Hi John!
The issue here is that the CSS you’ve implemented is causing the menu on the mobile theme not to work correctly. Can you do the following?
1. Disable the CSS on the mobile theme under Appearance -> Customize -> CSS as shown here:
2. Re-enable the mobile theme under the options here:

Then, the menu should appear as a drop-down on the top of the page!

Hi Jeremy,
I do not wish to enable the mobile theme. I guess what I was trying to say is that I want my mobile version site to look ‘exactly’ like it does when viewed on a computer. That is with the menu items going across the top. Is this possible?
Thanks
John

Hey John,
The menu should be appearing across the top on mobile devices now. Here’s what I see on an iPhone 6:
Are they not appearing on your mobile device?
-
hi jeremy,
yes it is up there but once you navigate around the menu options, parts if not all of the menu items dissappear along with the corresponding images/links on each page.

Hey John,
I’m not experiencing that on my side. Here’s a screencast of me navigating through the menu:
Could you let me know what you’re clicking on when you are missing the menu?

thanks for your promptness and patience jeremey. It must be a glitch on my iphone. It looks good. Please feel free to close out my enquiry.
thanks for your help!

No problem John! If the problem doesn’t stop occurring over the next few days, can you let me know what device you’re using so I can try to replicate?

Hi Jeremey
I am still having issues with my mobile site with respect to navigating my menu. Menu items continue to disappear when I go from one menu area to another.
I have navigated the mobile site on both an IPhone 5 and IPhone4s

Hey John,
That’s really odd. Can you try downloading Chrome on your iPhone just as a quick test? It should be free in the App Store. I’m wondering if this issue is only occurring with Safari or with other browsers as well. It’s still working correctly on my side for whatever reason.
