Mobile version is very small

Hello Supernovia, thanks for the links. The second one (LCN) is correct because that is who I bought the domain from.

I followed the instructions for a 301 redirect but unfortunately it has not changed anything. I suspect because I had already done this in 2013 when I first set up the website. Do you think this is a historical glitch?

I will upgrade my wordpress site, but only when I am assured it will solve the problem. I would be upset to upgrade and still find the problem there, which is why I am anxious to solve it before the upgrade.

    What next?

  • I’m still seeing a framed/masked redirect on this end. If it is working properly, it will show the free address. So if you want to go that route, can you contact LCN for help?

When it works properly, it will look like this:

If you upgrade, it will look like that, but the ads will be gone, too.

Noting too, your theme is fairly old, so it doesn’t have its own fancy mobile view. If you switch to something newer, it would have its own style when viewed on a mobile screen. It would still be responsive.

Thank you for your feedback supernovia. I already contacted LCN and they were not at all helpful, saying they are not web designers and do not know anything about these technical issues.

I know what the website should look like, because that’s how it looks with baldwinsarah.wordpress.com. But I can try updating to a newer theme and see what happens.

Otherwise it looks like I will have to upgrade to a paid plan.

    Many thanks,
    Sarah

Hello everyone at support, I am still not satisfied with the outcome. I have also discovered that I have been viewing gymstars.co.uk on my desktop at home through a working link, but when I type gymstars.co.uk into the address bar, nothing happens and I get this message:

Safari Can’t open the page “https://www.gymstars.co.uk” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding

what is going on? Is that the LCN server or the wordpress server? And can you guarantee this problem will be solved if I pay for a $48 annual upgrade? If I make that payment, you can guarantee that the domain mapping will work, on all devices? I am trying to get this solved urgently for work purposes and I am not getting the answers or solutions I need. Please help!

Update: I went back to LCN and this time got someone who had a better understanding of domain mapping. They sorted it out and removed the masking. So it is working better now. I will upgrade my wordpress plan in due course. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Sarah.
