Mobile view and missing dates

My apologies if this is a duplicate entry but I didn’t see it turn up in the forum topic list.
I just changed to a static page for the home page. I used the blog layout because I want visitors seeing excerpts for the most recent posts. Wilson theme.
1) Mobile view issue: The page looks great on a desktop and then when I preview the mobile view on the desktop. However, when I view the site in Chrome on an Android phone, it shows a “latest posts” page. Same problem on a Google phone.
2) Random missing dates: On the same home page, the block for recent posts random omits dates below the posts. Only 1 of 4 has a date.
I’ve cleared the caches on my desktop and phones, plus restarted. The problem persists. Any ideas?

The problem overall is you’re using our mobile theme, which is very old and about to be phased out. :)
All of our themes now, including the one you’re using, are responsive. This means the design adapts and adjusts to any screen size, making the separate mobile theme no longer necessary.
If you visit the theme’s demo at https://wilsondemo.wordpress.com from your phone, you can see how it will look. Much better than that plain and now likely broken blue mobile theme. ;)
