Mobile view changes are affecting also the desktop view

    Hello,

    I found out only ones I finished my website, that it is smart to work simultaneously on the responsiveness for the mobile and tablet. So now I find myself adjusting little things on the mobile version and tablet version. But when I switch back to, let’s say from mobile to desktop, I see everything I adjusted on the mobile version is also adjusted on my desktop.
    Does anybody have some tips for me?

    Can you tell us a bit more about what you are trying to set up? You site is in Coming Soon mode via a plugin, but staff may be able to see what you are referring to if you can share links to the specific page as well as examples of what you are seeing.

    Generally speaking, when editing a site with a mobile-responsive theme on WordPress.com, it is important to understand that changes made to the mobile view can also affect the desktop view due to the interconnected nature of responsive design. Responsive themes are built to adapt fluidly across different device sizes, meaning alterations made in one view could impact another. We’re happy to take a closer look and confirm what you are seeing, but typically the only way to make changes that are “mobile only” is to use custom CSS code that is targeted to specific screen sizes.
