Mobile view has menu options transposed

  • Unknown's avatar

When my website home page is viewed on a mobile phone some of the text from the menu appears over the banner photo. The menu loads and works fine, this is additional (duplicated) text that overprints the banner photo.

This unwanted text does not show when editing the website with WordPress in mobile mode, so I can’t fix it. The mobile view in WordPress is different to the actual view on a phone.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

What is the URL of your website or what is the name of your account on the WordPress.com platform you need assistance with?

  • Hi there,

On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please contact support for the theme you’re using directly for help with this.

For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. The url is https://allisonbiel.co.uk

On a mobile the words Testimonial, Services and Prices over print the banner image. These are menu options, but not all of the menu options. This does not happen in WordPress (mobile view), so I am at a lose how to fix it.

    Thanks, Allison
