Mobile view white space in header

    Hi, I’ve noticed I have a white space in my site’s mobile view. I’ve entered a code to fix this issue for desktop, but haven’t been able to for the responsive aspect.
    Can someone please shine some light.

    Thanks.

  • Hi there,

    Do you mean the space under the header image? The simplest option is to just hide the .site-branding section completely, rather than adjusting the padding as you’ve done in the code currently in your Customizer:

    /*
     * Hides site title and tagline,
     * thus reducing white space under
     * site header
     */
    .site-branding {
    	display: none;
    }

    Let me know if that’s not what you want.

    At the same time, please make sure you set a site title in the Site Identity section – even if you don’t display it on your site you should still have it set, as that info is used by search engines, displayed in the browser tab if someone views your site, and used whenever you share a link to your site on social media.

    Also note that your Business Plan gives you access to live chat and priority email support where you can get help with issues like this much faster than by posting to the forums – you can access live chat via the Help icon that appears bottom-right everywhere on My Sites.
