  Hi,

  Is it at all possible to let people comment on a blog without the comment first going into moderation? Is there a way to turn the “awaiting moderation” tool off?

  Hi @gjgoumas,

  I believe you can adjust this setting by first going to your Dashboard -> Settings -> Discussion -> and then find the Before a comment appears section.

  Here you’ll see the option to check or uncheck if a comment should be manually approved.

  However, I also think it’s worth noting that by leaving this option unchecked, your posts would be more vulnerable to spam. How much more vulnerable? I can’t really say to be honest—the likelihood is greater though—and in my opinion, it’s always good practice to manually approve comments.
