Modifing title of image in Media doesn't show change in post

  I would like to be able to modify the title of images (that i’ve inserted into posts) without having to do it from the post editor, and rather, just change the titles in the Media section. I don’t understand why it works for some images and not for others. The tooltip changes for some, and not for others, which just stay the same as they were before; im not sure if it has something to do with the images that have been resized within the post…

  Hi. My best guess is that some images are “attached” to a post and some are not…

  To have the titles update, you will have to do it from within the post or page editor. A change to in the media library does not automatically scan and update all posts or pages or instances of an image.

  There could be times when someone uses an image multiple times and wants a different alt tag or title tag on that image due to the nature or the subject matter of the particular post it is in.
