Modify "read more" tag . . .

    Hi All!

I would like to modify my read more tag if possible. I would like it to look like this “in the north to Guyana and Suriname… Continue Reading” and instead, when I insert the tag, it instead ends my content leaving the reader with no direction. In order to find the tag, she must then scroll all the way down past the share buttons near the categories to click on the “read more” which is in really tiny print. Can you help? My site is outdated with these long posts. I am trying to update without buying a new theme. Thanks so much in advance for your help! :)

    Hi Laura

I’m not seeing the read more tag anywhere on your page.

If you can use it on one of your posts as an example and let me know I would be happy to have a look at it for you.

Please note that in order for us to make alterations with CSS you need to be on the WordPress.com Premium Plan.

Hi Laura, I’m seeing the read more on one of your archive pages here: http://pagesandstories.com/2014/ .

The location of the read more and comments link was the designer’s choice and not something that can be reliably moved up below the content with CSS since that section isn’t in the div with the content and cats/tags.

I tried a couple of things, and although I can move it, on smaller screens, such as small tablets and phones, the content ends up overlaying the comments/read more section.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help. I am not the most tech savvy, but I do understand that some designs are unable to be altered. Much as I hate to change themes, at least I know that if I want the desired effect, this is what I must do. :) Thanks again! Laura
