Modify the article editor for uploading pictures and previewing only?

    Can the page edited by the article be used to modify the editor for uploading pictures and previewing only? The WordPress article editor just installed is a rich text editor that can edit text or pictures. I want to change it to just add pictures, upload and preview pictures, how to modify the code? Or is there a plug-in that can do this?

    @trabloger, if this is for your own site and you’re just looking for a simpler uploader, try uploading to media rather than a new post. This works well from mobile apps, too.

    Also, these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com. If you need help with an individual WordPress installation you’re running with another host, you’ll want to use the correct forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    There likely is a plugin that would suit your needs, but since these forums here are for free sites, and our free managed sites don’t allow extra plugins, you’ll likely get better results in the correct forums. Cheers!
