Modifying Pages
-
First, I chose a theme (Regulus) that is listed as supporting Custom Header Images under Support->Appearance->Themes->Custom Header Image, but when I went to change the image under Appearances on my Dashboard, I couldn’t…the option was not there.
So then I changed to a different theme, Andreas09.
I would like to add tabs to the top & understand that a Tab is the same as a Page. But when I added a 3rd page, it never appeared at the top. So I tried dragging 3 Page Widgets to the right sidebar but the links all linked to only one of the pages.
Also I wanted to change my “About” page and add my photo, which I never figured out how to do.
I see that certain themes have certain characteristics. Am I trying to do something that I can’t with Andreas09?

Thanks so much.

You do not have three pages. You have one Page and two Posts. This should clarify:
-
As for a custom header in Regulus, you have to:
a) create a 730×140 px image (jpg or png),
b) go to Media > Add New, upload the image and copy its URL,
c) go to Appearance > Current Theme Options and paste the URL.
